Thanks for listening

June 21 2018

Well it has been a while since I posted on my blog. Sorry to everyone who follows me.

Life has been so busy. Since my trip home from Mexico I have been getting my house ready for selling, and my yard !!!! Well let’s just say two years of being sick and hurt and unable to do all the work has taken a toll on our yard to say the least.

On June 9th we ( by we I mean my beautiful sisters Cathy and Lynne) hosted a shower for my niece Danielle at our home. We had so much fun we did a tea party. With many of us wearing fascinator hats and pretty dresses it was so beautiful. We had a perfect day for it and Danielle was glowing with all the excitement. We then hosted a bachelorette party for Danielle in the evening. It was so much fun and again Danielle was smiling the whole time. Mission accomplished!! 😘

I am continuing my regime from Mexico and I can say I am still feeling great and having a wonderful life. I really do not take my life for granted anymore and I am thankful for each day I wake up and get to enjoy my family. For me life is great ❀️

Of course there is always something to write about that is not so great. I have had a friend for 20 years who we didn’t see each other lots but were always there for each other. We had a disagreement on something and she has decided to end a 20 year friendship. We both see things differently and feelings were hurt. On both sides! I did try to reach out as I decided to forgive her for the treatment she gave to me. But she does not want to talk. So I guess that is that. My words of wisdom here are……… life is short get over the stupid stuff. Move on and put the past behind you. Also remember that words once said can not be taken back.

So moving on. Jamie is still not working, now 8 months without work. We are really hoping that the Kinder Morgan gets going soon. We know so many of our pipeline friends are also waiting, so hopefully soon, we will be on the road again. Can’t wait 😁

One last thing. I have had so so much support over the last two years dealing with my cancers. I can not even begin to thank everyone. BUT!! Everywhere I go, or so many new people I meet my cancer story comes up. I find so many people say the craziest things. I know that it is hard to say the right thing, but so many people tell me yea I know about cancer……my friend died, my mother died, my dad died, my brother died, my sister died, my aunt died, my uncle died, etc etc etc. Well for a cancer patient ( survivor) that is the worst things to tell us. We need to hear positive things. My Mom survived cancer, my Dad survived cancer my brother survived cancer etc etc. You get the idea. Just a little FYI ( for your information). I myself want to hear positive stories not the bad. Thanks for listening. 😘
