The days fly by. It seems I am on Monday and then bang it is Friday again. I don’t want to complain about the time going by to fast because at least I am here living in time. The other option is not so great. As Jamie says at least my feet are on top of the dirt.
We have been so busy since coming home from Mexico. We have listed our house again. But first be built another bedroom in the basemen, we now have 3 bedrooms. Supposed to help with selling, I guess we will see. Then the yard work begins. Oh boy the first bit of work in the spring is so much work. My age is catching up to me too. I used to be able to do most of the yard in one day. Two for sure. We are just finishing up a full month. Now I need to start over and do the first bit again. Lol lol. It sure looks nice around here now. The plants are all coming up and it looks so pretty. I can’t wait for all the flowers. Jamie got a c-can and he is slowly going through his stuff getting ready to move too. Boy he has a lot of stuff. Lol lol
I am still on my Hoxsey diet and doing good. When in Mexico the doctors at the clinic set us up with how much of everything to bring home for whatever time we are going to be home for. This time I had a year before I had to go back. I trusted the girls to get the right amount of supplements…..but I am going to run out of my Hoxsey tonic about the middle of July and I am not supposed to go back to the clinic until October. So I started looking up my friends to see if anybody had some extra Hoxsey. Well lucky me my friend Nicole has an extra bottle. So hopefully I can go back in October as planned. Thanks Nicole your awesome β€οΈ so on I go with this crazy life until the fall.
In May Jamie was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, he and Ava now check their numbers together. She is trying to get Papa to eat right and follow his diet better. But I believe she has one up on him, because she learned at a very young age to follow her diet. You know what they say ” You can’t teach an old dog new tricks” sorry Jamie !!!!! But this is going to be a long rough road. Our house is crazy now. With both of us following special diets. Cooking has become a difficult job. I wish Jamie cooked more. π’ we will see how it goes. Diet diet diet not fun π’π’
I did do my follow up with my surgeon after I got home from Mexico. I had an appointment the middle of April. She set me up with a plastic surgeon to remove these dogs ears under my arms. And here I wait !!!! Already into June. I have called twice and they told me to be patient, so I will hopefully get it done before next summer. Guess those new boobs will have to collect dust until I can get this fixed. Typical π€ͺ
This weekend we have the annual Diabeties run. My family is running for our “Ava” who has type one diabetes. I hope and I pray that there is a cure for her in her young lifetime. She is such a trooper and we are so proud of her. She fights this disease with all she has day after day after day. Do not underestimate this brave strong little girl she is a winner and someday she will prevail. She is stronger than most adults I know. She never tries to sneak or steal food and waits until she gets permission to eat. She is asked by her parents many times a day to do a finger poke,to check her numbers, to carry her diabetic bag. I have never heard her whine and cry….why me? Why now? She does it with a smile. As you can tell I am proud of her beyond words. Let’s go Ava β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ we love you baby girl π§
I love spring it is my favourite season. It leads to summer which I also love. But fall not so much, winter not at all. So I stretch out spring as long as I can. I hope we can get this house sold by fall so by winter we can be moved onto bigger and better things. Fingers crossed π€
Today’s saying : LOVE IS….Staying together after parking the camper..
