Hello everyone. Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to my blog and fill everyone in on my life.  Last time I wrote I said that that thing had taken a turn for the worse for me as my Dr in Edmonton could no longer give me any help for my cancer. Tough to hear and even tougher to tell all my family and friends. 

After some long days and nights and some soul searching, we and I mean we, as in my family who are behind me 100%, have decided to look for some alternative treatments. I took my time to write on here until I was sure about the decision and sure when and where I was going to get this treatment. I was a little skeptical at first to write on here what I was doing because the most important thing to me right now is to have lots of positives around me. I know not everyone will agree with my decision and that is ok. But please understand we came to this decision with lots or research and lots of thought put into it. I hope you will all give me the benefit of doubt and continue to hope and pray for me to have my cancer in remission or best possibility gone. 

So I am in Mexico right now doing treatment, so far so good and I will write more about what I am doing when I am home. For now I just want everyone to know I am starting to feel much better and much more like the old me. I can’t wait to share that with everyone. My sister Cathy is here with me. This is certainly a learning curve for me in my life, but one I am embracing with all my heart and all my might. I plan on continuing to getting stronger and better everyday. 

I have had so many messages and e-mails from so many people it warms my heart to hear from everyone. I am however having some trouble answering all the messages, because my phone does not work in Mexico where I spend most of my days. I am staying on the American side over nights. I am very comfortable and yes I feel very safe. You would not believe how many Canadians are down here for treatment, I meet new people everyday. Everyone has such positive results and great recovery stories, and only good to say about this facility I am going to. It has really lead me to believe WE have made the right choice. So I hope everyone will stay positive for and with me as I go through my treatment. Oh yes I also do have a new Facebook account, so I can go on FB while I am in Mexico, helps to pass the long days there. Thanks to everyone who is supporting me and my family, I just can’t say enough how important it is to us to have all your support. Whether you agree with my decision or not. I am here and feeling better everyday, that has to say something for the decision we have made. 

Today’s saying : This was on my cup the first day of treatment, and I have had the same cup everyday even though there are many people using the same little restaurant…..It Is What It Is ……….
