Catching up

June 18/2017

It is almost two weeks that I have been home from Mexico. I am getting stronger everyday. I know this because I have taken on all my regular jobs, and I can do them all. I have my house back in order and I am slowly working on getting my outside in order too. After last summer when I had my kidney cancer than my accident my yard got pretty behind so I am playing catch up this year.

It feels so great to be outside and working on my yard again. I did hire two boys to help me with some of the big projects, I know my limitations and a few jobs were just to big for me alone. It was so nice to get these boys to help, they dug right in there and did the work. So nice to see young guys like that not afraid to work, and so willing to help. I don’t know if there Mom reads this but if she does, I want to say you have two really awesome boys 👍🏻👍🏻

I did get the call from the cross I start my radiation next Monday June 26 th, I have my fingers crossed that all goes well. I have heard some real horror stories from people about radication. But my Mexico Doctor told me to do it. I have real trust in him so I am going with it. Wish me luck. And any extra prayers would be appreciated. 🙏🏼

My hair is growing back like crazy, but I am definitely not a blond anymore. Wow! I am a dark brunette. With a few sprinkles of white added. That’s all new for me. But I guess this is the new me now, so I am going with it…… Like I have a choice? I think in the next month I can go out without my hat. Can’t wait for that.

Today is fathers Day, I wanted to say how luck I am to have a Dad who has supported me through all this long journey I have had. I know it has put him through some tough days. Because once a parent it dosent matter how old your kids are. You will always worry about them. I have given my Dad so many worries this last year. Hopefully Dad this is the end of it all, I am feeling great and plan on staying that way. I love you and thanks for all your help ❤️

I also need to mention my husband who is a great father too. He has also had a lot to deal with, because after having a son die you become a different Dad. Then we adopted a son, and Jamie has handled all this with such strength. I am so proud of him and I know my boys are proud of him too. Then my boys who are great Fathers, and have wonderful kids to prove it. I love you all

So this next week I plan on getting all my yard jobs done around here,so that if I have any troubles with the radiation I will be ahead of the game for once. Although I plan on skipping through this radiation like a rock star 😬

Today’s saying : F E A R ….has two meanings: “Forget Everything And Run”  or. “Face Everything And Rise”. The choice is “YOURS”.   I choose to Face everything and rise…..
