My time is winding down here in Fort St John. Hard to believe I have been here for 5 weeks already. The time has just flowed by. I have caught up on sleep and family time. I am going home to go to Mexico then a few doctor appointments back home and I will probably come back up here in October and stay until the end of the job. 

I have loved having my little red Mercedies here it has been great to let me get around town. Everywhere I go people are asking me about it what a cute little car, how fun the convertable is for summer, just lots and lots of people making comments. Finally yesterday I figured out why ?? This is ” TRUCK” country. You either drive a Dodge Ram or a Ford F-350. Sorry Marc but there are mostly Ford’s here. Lol lol so me driving around this little car is really noticeable. So now I am looking and I have not seen one little sports car anywhere. Not even one !!! 

Jamie and Mac both had to work yesterday on there only day off each week. Makes for a long couple of weeks with no days off. I mean for me, but for them too. Lol lol  so I am really looking forward to a Jamie getting 4 days off for the long weekend. We are going to have some rest time for him and going for mani-pedi’s maybe even a couples massage. No plans we will just play it by ear and see what he feels like doing. But with not having a day off for 3 weeks I bet he gets  lots of sleeping in 😬

Finally my blisters are under control. No new ones this week yea !!! I am still pretty red and the old blisters are healing up so a few open soars. But I am a lot better now. I had breakfast with Gordon yesterday he was the only one of my guys off. So I set up a breakfast date with Him. He said he looks at me and hears my voice but just can’t get used to me with this brunette and curly short hair. He said sometimes he dosent know it is me. So I think I will surprise everyone when I come home and they see me curly sue the brunette now  lol lol 👩🏽
