November 9/2017 

Wow what a couple of long weeks we have had. Poor Jamie has hauled me all over the city for tests. Every time I see a doctor he sends me for more tests.  I have had a full overhaul. I am sick of doctors and tests.  

I did have a CT scan of my head and all good ✔️ (check) that one off the pile. Now my doctors from the Cross, all three…….have released me back to my family doctor. That is a good thing. Because I hope I “never, ever” have to back to the Cross for anything. My doctor from the Cross told me my family doctor will do any necessary test, in the future. So I go to my family doctor Wednesday and he sends me for 2 more tests. I am still having trouble with nausea, this has plagued me ever since I got my kidney out. But with so much else going on they put it on the back shelf. My family doctor said that we need to look into it now too. Soooooo I go for a test, where I drink this awful milky stuff and they x-Ray me as I drink it to see me swallow it, and then I lay down and I have to roll around 3 times to make this coat my stomach for more x-rays.  After as I go to leave the x-Ray doctor says do you have trouble with nausea? I say yes. He then tells me I have a hernia, that he is sure is causing the nausea. I was so surprised he told me anything I didn’t ask if the hernia is in my stomach or my esophagus. But I guess when I see my family doctor he will tell me and plan a course of action.  But that was not all I had to do another test, this one I blew into a vile then I had to drink something they told me was radio active and wait 30 minutes then blow into another vile.  Really kind of weird. But I guess I will find out the results from that next week too. I am hoping that the hernia is the source of the problem. The nausea has been going on way to long. 🤒 I had to fast for both these tests and I went from 9 pm on Wednesday night to 2 pm on Thursday. I was starving when I was done. Jamie took me for a treat after I was all done. Thanks babe. Long day for both of us. ✔️( check) that of the pile too 

I saw my urologist doctor on Monday. That is the kidney doctor. He could not believe how great I was doing. He said he was following all my medical records. He saw that I had broke my pelvis, then got my breast cancer. He also said that the tests he had sent me for showed the cyst on my right kidney. So he is sending me for a cystoscope to just check it out. But he is really not worried about it, although a follow up test will give us both a piece of mind. So I go for that test in a couple of weeks. I will keep you posted on that one. 🤕 another  ✔️ (check) off the pile. 

So today we finally got a whole day home to get caught up on everything here. Bills, housecleaning, and cooking don’t care if you are sick or getting tests. Finally I am all caught up. Now back to just living our lives. 🙏🏼

Today’s saying : I Have learned a lot this year……. I learned that things don’t always turn out the way you planned, or the way you think things should.  And I’ve learned that there are things that go wrong that don’t always get fixed or get put back together the way they were before. I’ ve learned that some broken things stay broken, and I’ ve learned that you can get through bad times and keep looking for better ones, as long as you have people who love you..
