Wow a whole year has gone by, one year ago today I had my surgery for two things I can live without. Yes I had my double mastectomy, and never looked back again. It has been one hell of a year, oh boy is that an understatement. I had no idea what I was going to be facing. Chemo was hell and had me looking through the window of deaths door, radiation was a little less hard but still pretty rough on the body. I pray to God that I don’t ever have to do either again. Not sure I ever would. What a difference a year makes. 

As I have done many times before, I feel the need to thank my family for all the help and support they have given to me this past year. I don’t think any of them knew what a ride we were in for. I truly have the best family in the world ❤️❤️❤️

I had a great visit with my Auntie Marie last night, we can get on the phone and two hours have gone by just like that. She gave me some really good advice.  I told her I was thinking of having re-constructive surgery. I said I was concerned about the pain again, but I was having trouble with living in this body with no breasts. It is much harder than I ever thought it would be. She told me “you need to go throught the pain to get the gain”. That is so true, thanks Auntie Marie your words of wisdom really helped. 💜

So we have another engagement in out family!!! Gordon has asked his girlfriend Jen to marry him too.  We will have a busy year next year. I wish both couples Mac and Jolee, Gordon and Jen all the happiness in the world. 😘😘 Bring on the weddings. 

I did get my Christmas tree up finally, I finished my shopping, and I even got my presents all wrapped. Pretty good all that done in one week. Even proud of myself how quickly I got it all done. It is really nice to sit in the evening with just the glow of the Christmas tree lights. I guess I do like it better than I thought I did. Lol lol baa hummmm bugg. 

I spent some time at Londonderry Mall today, man have they ever improved that mall from when I went to M.E. Lazertte. I spent many a hour in that mall instead of in English class or  Social or Science or or or.  Lol  Jamie was getting a tattoo, it is beautiful, of BJ and him holding hands and walking into the sunset, with a saying that says. Until we meet again my son. Makes me feel warm inside just looking at it. Merry Christmas to him 🎅🏻🌲

So it is only a week away to Christmas. Merry Christmas to all my family and friends. I wish you all much health and happiness. You don’t know how important your health is until you don’t have it. And being happy is important to your health so they go hand in hand. Trust me I know. 👍🏻👍🏻 I have fought the hard fight 🌲🌲
