So Jamie and I are on a little holiday in Mexico.  Oh how we love it here. This time we are in Puerto Vallarta. We were lucky enough to get two weeks away again. The sun is so good to re-juvinate your body. I feel so good these days. Brought myself a big book and I sit in the warm rays of subshine everyday. With 90 sunscreen, don’t want to get skin cancer now too. We have sat on the beach and by the pool. Jamie has got some swimming in. But I have yet to get my toes wet. I promised him tomorrow I would get my feet wet. So let’s see if I keep my promise. I know both my sisters are doubting me about now!!!! 

In Cancun there are no beach venders, but I really enjoy the venders in Puerto Vallarta. They really are fun to haggle with. As of yet I have not bought anything. But maybe tomorrow. We went down to the Malacon today. It was a beautiful sunny day and so nice to be there. We seem to appreciate it more as we get older. Jamie of course found a couple of little Mexican kids about 3 to 4 years old. He took them to the ice-cream store and bought them each some ice-cream. One little boy gave him a high five and then a fist pump, Jamie also bought the poor Mom some ice-cream she was just as excited as the little boy was. Makes you feel good to do something for people who just can’t afford it. That’s my big hearted guy ❤️

We are at an all-inclusive resort and the restaurants here have been so good to me on my horsey diet. They just can’t seem to do enough to please me. I am having no trouble with my diet here. Except that I am eating to much. It seems like we are always going to eat. Eat Sleep Eat Sleep repeat repeat. Lol lol we also find this resort full of older people. I mean older than us. They keep calling Jamie and I kids. Lol lol Most people are retired and some for many years. So I guess we will enjoy being called kids despite our age   Lol lol 

We are trying to watch some of the Olympics but we hate to be spending time in the room when it is so beautiful outside. We did catch a news story on Rene Bourque, Jamie’s cousin who is the captain of the men’s hockey team. Very proud moment for us. I can’t even imagine how proud Rene’s family must be. Congrats Rene, best of luck for the gold medal. 

We did have quite the experience here on Friday when I was woke up at 8:05 am by my whole bed rocking back and forth. I was what the heck is that from? I got up to see if anybody else found that to be weird ? Shaun and Laura were there and Shaun was on his phone checking to see what it was? GUESS WHAT ? We had an earthquake???? I was totally freaked when I realized what it was. That is one for the bucket list. First ever and hopefully the last earthquake I am in.We are on the eighth floor so we felt it pretty good, Jamie was on the ground getting a coffee and never felt a thing. But I was freaked out enough for the both of us. I was worried about a tsunami, everybody laughed. I didn’t!!! 😜 lucky all was good.  Back to the sunshine ☀️

So we have a few more days here. We plan on getting lots of R&R and lots of sunshine. With a lot of great food at least 3 times a day. See you all soon. 😘
