Life is Good

April 5/2018

Day 4 of my treatments in Mexico. As always a very eventful time here as we try to get through the border in less than 2 hours. Got pretty close today. With a van full of 15 people we were filled to the max. As always we do a little Mexican shopping with the venders along the way. Some days we get pretty good deals, other days not so much.

I got my results from my Doctor here and it could not be better. I have gone down from 51 in September to 18 now. That is below normal, I have no active cancer in my body right now. I was on pins and needles waiting for my results. I actually felt like I was going to throw up as I sat in Dr Castillo’s office waiting for him. I had this terriable feeling that I was going to get bad news.  BUT!!!!! no it was all good news. He is very happy with my progress and can tell I am following the hoxey diet. He said my progress is amazing. Yippie yippie yippie.  Now I am on a high and everyday feels better than the last.  Of course my family is all happy to hear the good news too as they have all been on this journey with me, I love them all so much for their support. ❤️❌⭕️❤️

Every time I come here I meet some new people who quickly become friends. I have met this older couple Joyce and Dan they are 78/82 and I tell you they can give us all a run for our money. Last night they invited Angie and I to go for supper with them. Off we went to a buffet world, which was not really the best for me because of my hoxey diet.. But that was not the fun part. Joyce is the driver because she says Dan is to old. But oh my gawd she drove like a maniac. She passed everything on the road, Angie and I were in the back seat holding on for dear life. Groceries were flying around in the back seat. It was the most fun I have had in a long time.  Thanks Joyce and Dan for a wonderful evening

I have also met up with my friend Nicole who I first met on my first trip here to San Diego/Tijuana. We are both back here for our 6 month follow up. So nice to see a familiar face. 😜

Not sure if any of my family and friends know that I  watch some of the Real Housewives series. My favourite is The Beverly Hills Housewives. There is now a spin of called Vanderpump Rules. One of the housewives from the series Lisa Vanderpump has a spin off and she does part of the show from her restaurant “SUR” well Angie and I are going into Beverly Hills on Sunday to have brunch at the “SUR” restaurant, I can’t wait. I am like a little kid just so excited to go there. Life is good. Thanks Angie for helping me find my way and taking me there. We are going on the Amtrack train. 🚋 more on this story in my next blog.

So all in all my life has taken a turn for the better. I had a rough couple weeks before I came down here. I was totally loosing my hope, I truly felt like ever pain I had was cancer again. But now I can put that all behind me and move on. This not only makes me happy but all my family happy. Life is good so be happy !!! I am going to be

Today’s saying : When your head starts to worry. And your mind can’t rest, put your prayers down on paper and let God do the rest…….❤️
