We’re on the move again. Tomorrow we are leaving rainy Terrace/Kitimat BC. Although we did enjoyed the people we have met and the beautiful campground we were parked at. I WILL NOT miss the rain ☔️🌧. I now have webbed toes and fingers. Lol lol But the last two days have been some of the nicest weather we have had. We had blue skies and sunshine. So nice to see the sun after 8 days of pouring rain. I mean monsoon rain. Even though we are heading to Alberta and we hear a foot of snow. I look so forward to blue skies.
I guess my summer of fishing is over too. 🐟🎣 I actually became a pretty good fisherwoman. I am coming home with a BIG salmon to prove it. 🍣 Although I only caught a few fish all season, they were sure tasty. Jamie and Mac by far beet me in the fishing game. I hope I get to salmon fish again sometime.
We spent six full months here. I never had anybody to hang with all summer. All the guys who parked here never had their wives with them. Finally just two weeks ago a couple moved into our campground right next to us. They have a great big motor home. He is a RCMP and she works with the elderly in Terrace. A really lovely couple. We had dinner with them one night. And have visited back and forth. They also did the, sell their acerage and downsized thing, a lot like we did. We had so much in common. I was so happy to finally have a friend. But then we find out we are moving. Story of my luck🍀
We are now moving to Edson where Jamie is going to work. A lot closer to home. We can go see the grandkids, my sisters, and my Dad. I also hope to fit some visits in with my friends too. Of course I have a ton of things to do as we get back home. 🏡
We have been lucky enough to spend every weekend with Mac as he is staying in camp for this job. He spends Saturday nights with us. We have supper and play cards then watch a movie. It has been so nice to spend some quality time together. Not something you get to do often with your adult children. I guess we are really lucky that we all still like each other. Lol lol Don’t miss us to much Mac 🤪🤗😘
Jamie and I are still trying to find some time to get to Tijuana for my treatments. But it seems to be getting worse not better. I think I have enough supplements to get me through until February. I have been lucky enough to get a few of the supplements I need from a friend who went to Tijuana also. But sadly passed away. So that should help buy me some more time⏰. I am very lucky that my health is still good and I am feeling great. 🤞🏻⭐️
We have totally been in a little bubble here in Terrace/Kitimat. There has been only a couple cases of covid-19 here, in total. And just recently there are people wearing masks at the grocery stores and around town, except for Walmart where masks are mandatory. I think my bubble will be popped when I hit Alberta. But I can wear a fancy mask just like anybody’s business. Lol lol Alberta here we come.
My poor Jamie twisted his knee last night and is hardly walking. So Mac helped me get everything packed up and ready to leave for tomorrow. I think we are ready to roll except for the water and sewer in the morning. But I can do that stuff. We have a very long drive ahead of us tomorrow and we also lose an hour. So I better head off to bed. We hope to get a really early start because we are supposed to get snow starting at 5 am. I hope we can get off early and ahead of the snow. See you all back in Alberta my family and friends ❤️❤️
