October 18/2017 

Well winter has finally hit Fort St John. It is snowing very bad here now. Although it has felt like it was going to snow for a few days. Very cold and very windy. I had a rough day on Sunday we had 60 Kim hour winds and my satellite dish went out about 30 times that day I had to go and re-set it all day, in the wind and the rain…..I know, I know don’t whine, but when TV is all you have to do you really depend on it. Lol lol. Jamie had no pity on me that night either. 😖

So my boys have been working long hours. They leave here about 5:30am and have not been home the last few nights until 8:30 to 9:30 all rolling in a different hours but between there somewhere. So last night they got in at 4pm and decided we should all go out for supper before Gordon left for home today. Taking me out to eat is not that easy on my special diet. So we decided on Montana’s we should have know it would be a bad night when we got there, and the waiter wanted all 5 of us to squish into a booth for four. When we were the only ones In the restaurant. Then the service was really bad, we each got our drinks one at a time, took about an hour to get our appies, then we ordered supper. I ordered salmon and veggies and potatoes  we finally all ate and had a good visit. We came home and off to bed. Until 2 am when I woke up and was so sick. I threw up and the other end too. I woke Jamie up and he didn’t feel good either. We went back to bed but I was up again at 5 am sick again. This carried on most of the day today. Until about 2 pm when I finally stopped throwing up. Jamie never did throw up but he called this morning and said he didn’t feel to good. So I dont know if it was food poisoning or just something that didn’t sit well with me. Loooong day today. 🤒

What was I thinking coming to Fort St John in October and not bringing my winter coat. Oh yea I had to go buy one. Of course I did, it is cold here. I might need some boots too if the snow keeps up, I bought Jamie a few heavy sweaters and a coat too, not very prepared this year. 

Our time here in Fort St John is coming to an end, Jamie only has a couple weeks left, give or take..I go home next week because I have some doctor appointments back home. It has been a year already with my cancers, actuall 18 months since my kidney cancer. But because they did so many tests a year ago they let me wait for the year to be the same as the breast cancer. I now have to do the one year check ups. I have not missed that Cross Cancer and I do not look forward to going back there. Although I guess I do need to do the follow ups to be sure that I don’t have any flare ups any where. I need to know,…….but I am scared to death to find anything else out. I do not want any more cancers anywhere in my body, and I pray that they find nothing this time. So all my prayer warriors please keep up the prayers for me just a little longer.
